Creation for Connection — You are a Craftsman
“The Statue of an Angel” (1494-1495) was created by Michelangelo out of marble. It is situated in the Basilica of San Domenico, Bologna, as a decorative object in Arco San Domenico. When asked about his inspiration for the piece, Michelangelo said, “I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.” Great artists can look at raw material and see a masterpiece before the work is completed. So too with our God, who breathed life into us and had a picture of his son’s potential in mind. He created to unlock your potential from the marble.
This week Mike and Jim discuss what it looks like to utilize your creative potential to connect with the Father and other Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
